I do wake up in total dread
from time to time staring at a shape in the room
thinking that it looks like an intruder and I'm
frozen to the spot until my consciousness settles
and the shape become apparent!!
I also sleep with a knife under my mattress
and hide my keys. I have put in a set
of burglar guards at my own expense
