The Violent Reverie                          Muff Andersson & Aryan Kaganof

i'm living on faith’s corner
permanently on the streets
always almost fainting from hunger
that's the way memory works
there's a lot of blur on the violence
i remember the texture of humiliation
we live with the family secret hidden,
it's under the table
only the perpetrator's view
really achieves
the horror

how did i process what i saw?
the rest of my life was an hallucinatory flash
