Mark and Rebecca Spencer

Mark and Rebecca Spencer are married and live in
Monticello, Arkansas.  Mark is Dean of the School of Arts and Humanities at
the University of Arkansas at Monticello and has published two novels, LOVE
AND RERUNS IN ADAMS COUNTY (Random House) and THE WEARY MOTE

(BackwatersPress), and two collections of short stories.  His work has received the
Faulkner Society Faulkner Award for the Short Novel, The Omaha Prize for the
Novel, The Bradshaw Book Award, The St. Andrews Press Short Fiction Award,
and four Special Mentions in PUSHCART PRIZE.  Rebecca is a freelance photo
journalist and newsletter correspondent for the Oklahoma chapter of the
national charity Newborns in Need.  THE GOOD LIFE is their first
collaboration.
