Monkey Summer Night
Daniel
S. Irwin & Ronald D. Irwin
One night, in the heat of summer, a monkey was
walking down the street looking for a canned ham. He looked in the
bookstore, shoe store, and the ditch behind the Piggly Wiggly. In the
Piggly Wiggly, itself, the monkey found a canned ham. He bought the canned
ham and took it home. There they, the monkey and the canned ham, ate
eggplants a la Darwin. They were making a lot of noise and the landlady
came in. She cried, "Don't Bogart that joint!" And the monkey
thought she was crazy. The canned ham got so disgusted that it jumped out
of the window. Morale of the story: realize your dreams...in Ontario,
anyway. |
